On this day, September 11th, 2019, the Moulton Student Council presented a special program in honor of all of those that were affected in the 9/11 attack. The program began with a prayer for not only the fallen, but their families, the service men and women, and all of the people who were and continue to be influenced by the experiences of that day. A recap of the devastation that occur was presented, as most of the students present hadn’t been born at the time of the devastation. Students raised and then lowered the flags from full mast to half-mast to recognize the day and the fallen. All students participated in saluting the flag, saying the Pledge of Allegiance, and singing the National Anthem, that was lead by high school teacher, Amber Nieto. Our district remembers, honors and recognizes the sacrifice of our countrymen in helping their fellow citizens in their hour of need.
