MHS secured the sweepstakes championship at the Region IV UIL Academics Meet in Brenham on Friday, April 26, with 298 points. Sixteen students will advance to the state meet in Austin across four team events and six individual events: Calculator Applications, Copy Editing, Editorial Writing, Feature Writing, Mathematics, News Writing, Poetry Interpretation, Ready Writing, Spelling & Vocabulary, and Social Studies.
