Information for Seniors & Juniors

SENIORS

  • One of the first things you should be working on is APPLYING to your college, university, military branch, or trade school. Most schools will use the Apply Texas application or the Common App. Please check your school's admission website for more details.

  • Once you apply, let Mrs. Kusak know so she can send your transcript to where you just applied.

  • Don't forget about using your 2 college days! Students have two copies of the form per the Senior/Student meeting.  If you need an additional copy, please see Mrs. Richter.

  • TSI scores: I will administer the TSIA2 when you are ready.

  • FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the 2023-2024 school year opens on OCTOBER 1!!! Use the website www.fafsa.ed.gov to get started. Check out this video and read this article to learn more about the application process. All Seniors must apply as it is required by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) There are lots of grants and funds available, so get this done EARLY!! 

  • COLLEGE ADVISING ESSENTIALS: College Board has put together a lengthy but USEFUL guide for students and parents! It's filled with everything from searching for colleges to entrance exams to checklists to financial aid AND BEYOND!

  • Be sure to follow your favorite colleges/universities for current information.  

 

Seniors!  Your Google Classroom is set up for all communication about your senior year.  Check Google Classroom and email daily.
